Ziggy

Ziggy was born on July 12, 2010.  I did not meet him until many weeks later, but by the end of that year he had already begun to change my life.  If you've ever had a pet that unlocked a part of your heart that you did not previously know existed, you understand what I mean when I call Ziggy my "heart dog." He loved fussing at his little sister Ziva, having his cheek rubbed, sleeping on and being held by his Dad (me), and passing out while nuzzling his little fleece star.

Though he passed away on August 19, 2023, he visits me in my dreams often, and I miss him every day.
